  • Wow, update, this place gets worse and worse. I received a letter from them that basically tells me that they refuse to permit me to renew my warranty with them. Not that I was going to but their claim is that it's due to the nature of my previous claims. Hmm, what could it be as I only filed 1 claim and that was for a clogged pipe that would have been cheaper on my own. Maybe it's because I complained because they were threatening to send me to collections over a bill I had proof I paid which I still have the collections notice they mailed me saved as a souvenir. Maybe it because I complained because they collected $50 from me and the plumber and one guard told me that the plumber cost does not include the $50 fee like other friends and family have told me their warranties with different companies includes. They claim they assess potential risk of each warranty and due to my prior years claims (1 item) they won't permit me to use them again. Hmmm, I think I can read between the lines. It basically says because you gave us a bad review on yelp and refused to retract it we don't want you as our customer anymore. They would have been wiser to wait and see if I would have renewed my warranty rather than sending me this letter assuming I'd go with them again. Well if you'd like to be double billed, have nothing covered, and have someone attempt to bully you when you dare have your own personal opinion on their company, then you'd be great to sign up for One Guard. Can't wait to see what they do to me next for posting this. Let's hope they just go away and leave me be. That would be awesome, but I kind of doubt they'll just drop it and let it be as it would be the best thing for everyone. Really just drop it, please, and let me be. Thank you.
