  • Women know how trying shopping can be. Even more so if you're a plus size woman. There are less options if you're of the curvy variety. Luckily, in Toronto we have a lot of little boutiques around the city that specialize plus size. Gussied Up has been around for a few years in Toronto and even has a store in Vaughan. Victoria, the owner, is an absolute gem and has the best memory! She obviously curates her store to carry great, special pieces and has a variety of classic and basic pieces as well as more higher label pieces that are seldom available to find in Canada. She has always been super helpful and never pushy. I also rather support a small business and have my dollars go back into the community. Even today, I popped in after not visiting in a while and Anna, the shop girl, was super patient, attentive and a great help in finding me suggestions. I look forward to coming back and buying some new dresses! Notably a lot Joseph Ribkoff pieces here! Some gorgeous unique gems. Also some of the cutest swimwear! Gussied Up is always worth the short bus ride from Bathurst station to Dupont or a short walk! Trust me.
