  • I've been going here for about 4 years. This shop has always taken good care of me. Ryan C was especially helpful. Edit: I dropped the initial rating I gave from 5 stars to 3 stars. Unfortunately, the quality of the service they offer has deteriorated. I had to go back to the shop a second time about week after a front brake pad and rotor replacement because the steering wheel was shaking when I applied the brakes at high speed. I told them this happened at 60MPH or higher. They didn't replicate the problem and said whatever shaking was occurring was probably the result of my tires being worn down and old. I asked them if they drove the car at 60MPH and they said no. So I drove with them at 60MPH + to demonstrate the problem. They finally agreed there was a serious problem. They honorably replaced the front pads and rotors and second time and explained to me that the problem with the front brake pads and rotors was most likely the result of my rear front brake pads being worn down too much. Further, they said if I didn't replace the rear pads and rotors soon the problem would just happen again. However, they damaged the knuckle during the 2nd visit and that had to be replaced as well. My car sat in there for 2 more days, but Econo Lube N Tune did eventually fix everything properly and didn't charge me for the part they broke which I appreciated. I didn't quite believe everything Econo Lube N Tune told me about the rear brake pads and rotors so I took my car to another repair shop for a second opinion on the back brakes. I explained to the 2nd repair shop everything. The second repair shop told me nothing needed to be done, that I could wait another 1 to 2 years to get the back brake pads and rotors replaced and that the shaking of the steering wheel at high speeds was probably just a bad front rotor, which they said sometimes happens. I suspect that either Econo Lube N' Tune damaged the knuckle during my first visit with them or gave me a defective part because I have experienced no problems since they put on the 2nd set of brake pads and rotors. While Econo Lube N' Tune entirely fulfilled their obligation too me, which I greatly appreciate, it was a great hassle and I probably will not go back again. They're not terrible, but they're not great either. They are just okay. It was a big hassle, and getting your brakes done shouldn't be a big hassle. FYI: The manager, Dee, was not there during my initial visit. The manager was the one that fixed everything the second time.
