| - There is something intriguing about this place when you enter. It takes me back to a time when restaurants felt like this. A feeling I can't explain, a feeling just known.
After a few more visits, safe to say service has been pretty consistent and the food is certainly shareable. Unless..you're drunk and hungry and can kill it all by yourself. I, on the other hand, have been able to take leftovers home. Price is quite Denny prices, but similar to prices you'd find at hash house. Honestly, it pick this place over Denny's just because of its ambiance.
My first experience with Peppermill was in Reno and completely loved the lounge firepit lounge, though, I have yet to visit the lounge at this location despite it being in the same building.
I thought their food was good and something about those rainbow sugar crystals which I have no idea why they chose to have that on the table...but because it's the Peppermill...it makes sense. Like, why wouldn't they have rainbow colored sugar crystals?! Lol.
It's a great spot to dine and lounge along the strip without having to be IN the casinos. I've seen children in there so it's certainly kid friendly in the dining area. You could even get away with rolling a stroller in as well. Lots of booth seatings. When it's time to pay, you walk up to the register. I'm sure handing it to your waitress is a option as well, but don't grump if your waitress never returns after she hands you your tab.
Definitely worth a try! Certainly a place to take visitors to eat or chill.
Enjoy!
