  • Recommended by friends I decided to check this place out. It's a cute little mom-and-pop shop that specializes in local and organic product made desserts. They had a variety of cupcakes, cookies, brownies and other goodies. I tried the specialty of the day Orangeblossom with rosewater cream cupcake at half price. The consistency of the batter was much like that of a almost-starting-to-dry-hence-the-50%-off cake while the frosting was light and not as sweet - which was the good part. Sweetness was just right. It wasn't the kind of sweet that made your teeth run a pang of hurt like another place. I am a fan of citrus so I love the flavor. However I'm not a fan of eating cake-cake itself. So maybe the texture didn't please the taste buds. I also tried the milk chocolate cookie and the double chocolate cookie. They were a little bit hard where I was looking for a soft cookie to chew into. Maybe the batch I had was a batch not made from that day. I guess I'll have to come back on a day that I know the cookies and cupcakes were baked fresh out of the oven. Overall pretty good for a local bakery.
