| - Had been seeing Dr. Milne for around a year a couple years ago. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2007, had seen many doctors out of state, and was at a place where I was doubting my diagnosis - so I went to Dr. Milne who was recommended by a friend. On the first appointment, he came off as very abrasive and rude because I didn't have every past medical record with me. The reason I didn't was because most doctors won't even give you the time of day or merely look at them. So I forgave that and came back the next time very prepared. He was definitely more hospitable then. But, over the course of the time I saw him, not much was discovered. Eventually, it came to the point where he would say things like "there may not be help for you" or "you had a blood transfusion when you were young, now you essentially have two people's DNA inside of you, and there's nothing you can do about it." Horrible, completely subjective things you should never say to a desperate patient. Anyways, having been through many, many doctors before, I can tell when a doctor has run out of tricks. What he was having me do wasn't helping and I knew he wouldn't be up for treating Lyme Disease. YMMV depending on what's actually wrong with you.
