  • I cannot express how pleased I am to have found J Nails! After having an extremely disappointing experience at Shimmer Nails I returned to Yelp in hopes of finding a true nail artist. I decided to give J Nails a try after I had read how wonderful this mother/daughter duo is. Being that I was wanting a full set of acrylics and I am VERY particular, the reviews that specifically stated that the daughter is a perfectionist and very talented convinced me to set an appointment. I am so glad I did! I brought in a few pictures of what I was looking for and shared that I have a tendency to destroy my cuticles and nails if there are any snags, bumps, or inconsistencies. She talked with me for a couple of minutes about how she would achieve the look I was after and then went straight to work. She has a very light touch and took great care while filing my nails. She explained what products she uses during her light and unobtrusive conversation. I appreciated that neither her or her mom were nosy or gossipy. The final result was the best set of acrylics I have had to date. Two weeks later and I haven't found a single problem. Zero lifting, the natural growth blends smoothly with the base of the acrylic and the natural portion of my nail at the tip was filed so perfectly that you cannot see any real nail at any of the edges. I have finally found my nail tech! Can't wait to have a pedicure with her mom when I go in for my fills. Thank you for the pleasant experience ladies.
