  • Excellent, authentic Japanese food. Great atmosphere, nice owners and staff. They have the regular menu and the specials for the day. I had to prompt the waiter to tell me more about the specials because he was clearly busy on a Tuesday night. However, he described a couple of the fresh sushi dishes to me and I quickly chose the poke tuna salad. Served with seaweed, onion and spices, the tuna salad was amazing. I also ordered the sushi sashimi combo platter, which was served with a salad and miso soup. The green salad was nothing special, just iceberg lettuce with a French like dressing. However, this didn't take away from the overall high quality experience of dining here. The salad was light and a nice complement to the full meal I ordered. I ordered hot tea, although they have a nice beer, wine and sake selection. The tea was excellent and I never had to ask for a refill. Between the waiter and a waitress working the full restaurant (on a Tuesday!!!), my water and tea were always full and I was never neglected. The food and service were both excellent. I'll be back!!
