  • Beautiful, old boutique mansion; perfect for any occasion. We hosted our wedding reception here in August 2010 and were blown away by the charm and friendliness found behind its doors. We were looking for a quaint European-style venue to host a modest 110 guests. As soon as we walked through the doors at the Glidden House we were sold. Gorgeous old architecture, beautiful decor and a welcoming grin that doesn't end! Outdoor patio with tent is fantastic and the new additions of the chandeliers are prefect touches! Leary and Kate were a dream to work with and made sure that all of our requests were met. In a tough economic time they were also more than helpful in finding us the most cost effective means to our ideas! Perfection is the best word I can use to describe having a wedding at the Glidden House. Rooms are beautiful as well; we stayed in one of the original home rooms and felt pampered to the max. Warning; you will not want to get out of bed in the morning.. so comfortable! If you are looking for a quiet, romantic night away or a place for your next intimate gathering the Glidden House is the way to go. You will not be disappointed!
