  • This is a converted LA Fitness from 24 Hr Fitness. I've been to several LA Fitness locations that have been converted from 24 Hr Fitness. All (3 in total that I've been to) are terrible and it is very obvious that 24 Hr did not have high expectations on the cleanliness of their gyms. I am disgusted by all the old 24 Hr Fitness gyms, but this location, which I use only because I work within walking distance, is TERRIBLE! I went last night and there was no soap (in the showers) or paper towels in the men's locker room. The showers have broken knobs, shower heads, and soap dispensers! So, I go again this morning. Same thing! No paper towels to dry my hands. There are four hand dryers. Two at normal height and two up the wall much higher than normal. I am 6'5", so I have no problem with the high dryers (which are taller than me!), but they do not work! I go into the shower there is a wet, used paper towel on the ground in the corner of the shower. I go to another stall. No knob. I go to another stall, and like the two before, no soap, but at least it works! Good thing I carry my own soap just in case! After I got dressed I went over the the manager and complained and told her I would be writing a Yelp review to destroy this place because LA Fitness should be ashamed of themselves for putting their name on this disgusting location! LA Fitness needs to remodel the 24hr Fitness brands and bring them up to speed with the other LA Fitness gyms that I frequent! None are anywhere close to as bad as these converted gyms!
