  • Opening day is today. Sitting at the table waiting for the ramen. So far, the menu is nicely laid out, and easy to navigate. The place is small and thin, with the small bar counter up against the kitchen like a ramen house should be. Best ramen houses are holes in the wall. This is just a nicely interior decorated hole in the wall. Greeted at the door by multiple people. Served our drinks and waited on very quickly. It is close to closing and not packed, so I'd hope for that. But it's never guaranteed. Everybody was very nice. I started typing this review after we put in our order, and we just got the order. Fast. Ordered tonkatsu ramen with egg, medium heat. Let's see how it tastes... Delicious. Broth is nice and thick, slightly fatty--like it should be. Pork melts in your mouth. Noodles--since they're freshly made here, they're springy and delicious. Egg is done perfectly. Everything about it is great. They use garlic chives, and didn't skimp with just green onion. The medium is quite spicy. And my husband and I both love spicy. So for the person who had mild and felt it wasn't spicy, there must be a large jump between mild and medium. But that's normal for most Asian cuisine. Portion is great. Rachel and Maru came around multiple times to give us more of our drinks, and make sure we were happy. Highly recommend this place. First great ramen place outside of Chinatown. And it's near my house!!! Score!!!!
