  • Terrible service. If I could rate 0 stars I would, to fully exemplify the terrible experience I had tonight. I originally called the store directly to inquire about trading in an iPad Pro for store credit (I was very interested in purchasing an Apple Watch or an Apple TV), and the very friendly man told me that I could either bring in my iPad Pro to the Apple Store or I could mail it online to receive a gift card. I thought this was great and made plans to visit the store. My less than great experience started as soon as I walked in he store. I have never actually been inside the Arrowhead Apple Store (as pretty as it is), but as soon as a I walked in I did not know who to ask for help about my iPad inquiry. No one bothered to ask if I needed help, no one told me if I needed to sign in to be seen, nothing. I waited for 20 minutes until I finally walked up to a team member in a red shirt and asked him if i needed to sign in to be attended. He asked me what I needed and I told him I just wanted to trade in my iPad for store credit. He told me to go hang out by the iPads and that someone would come help me. I waited another 20 minutes and I got tired of seeing people coming in after me being helped first. I saw a male employee cleaning and spraying and wiping the phones and I told him that I've been waiting a long time and I still have not been helped. As soon as I said this, the employee looked as if I was a bother. He told me to "hold on" left for 10 minutes and came back to help me. He then proceeded to tell me that I wasn't able to trade in my iPad for store credit, and that I needed to buy something (apparently you can only get a gift card if you mail it online). I told him that the employee on the phone told me that I could receive store credit and he went on to say that the employee was wrong. At this point I was already annoyed that I waited so long just to be helped by an employee who clearly did not want to be there, but also found it incredibly annoying that I was told two contradicting statements about my iPad inquiry. Since I was planning on buying an Apple Watch or Apple TV, I did not find this to be a deal breaker. The associate on the phone told me that if my iPad Pro was in perfect condition, both externally and internally, I would get 300 dollars worth of credit. At the store, the employee told me 250. At this point I wasn't sure if I wanted the Apple Watch or the Apple TV, so upon a quick thought, I told him that I'd trade it in for an Apple TV. The cherry on top to this MAGNIFICENT customer service came when I said I'd get an Apple TV and he told me I could only get an Apple Watch. At this point I did not want to deal with this employee anymore and I told him that I'd just take my iPad back and just mail it in. As soon as I said that, he immediately shoved my iPad back in my hands and asked the lady who had just come in "hi, are you being helped yet?", and she only had to wait about 2 minutes :-) this is completely unacceptable. If you hate servicing people, why have a job where you have to service people? I love Apple products, and for being the biggest company in the world, it should have the best employees as well. I will never return to this location and will tell everyone I know to skip this location entirely. Poor service, and poor customer service. Apple, I suggest you to reevaluate your employees, it is unacceptable for your employees to make customers feel like they are bothering the employees. You need employees that know how to treat, empathize, and more importantly, TALK to the customers. 0/0 stars. Everyone please save yourself this pathetic store and it's rude employees and take yourself to the Biltmore location instead.
