  • I needed to get my car washed and detailed, and a friend told me about Peak Mart. I looked them up online, and found a Groupon deal for just that. And so, I took a chance and bought it... and I'm SO happy I did! What a revelation this place is! I can't begin to tell you how genuinely (!!!) nice EVERYONE who works there is. They really truly serve their customers in the highest way possible. From the moment I drove in, I knew I was in good hands (a few months ago I went to another place that was closer to where I live -- and got such a bad vibe I immediately turned my car around and left - it was exactly the opposite with this place!) They did THE BEST JOB EVER on my car!!! It was literally PERFECT!!! I have an older car, and while I was hoping that they did a good job, I didn't at all expect any miracles -- yet a miracle was what they manifested! It was clear that they worked so hard to clean it inside and out so thoroughly. Peak Mart is about 25 minutes from where I live (for Las Vegas, they consider that VERY far away) and it was absolutely worth the drive in every way shape and form. I also met the owners, a man and a woman who were also SO warm and welcoming. The woman owner was so friendly, and you can tell that she and who I'm guessing is her husband really know how to run a business right. The people who came in while I was there were all treated like familiar old friends by the young woman behind the counter, who I was beyond impressed with. If you had a business and wanted someone to work there, she is exactly who you would hope to hire! While I was sitting in the store, the woman owner got a paper towel and some spray and cleaned a spot on the floor herself. It wasn't in any way compulsive -- it was someone who really takes pride in her store, and respects her customers. She also has a very kind and pleasant demeanor, as does her husband. I have never been in such a clean smoke-free convenience store with such a huge selection EVER! The entire washing and detailing process took about an hour and a half. During the wait, I first went next door and had a tortilla (OMG -- the cleanest freshest and most delicious food made by the sweetest lady who really takes pride in the freshest ingredients -- and you can REALLY tell and taste the difference! P.S. The flour tortilla was SO light and flaky and delicious -- if you have one of these you'll experience for yourself just how special it is.). After some time I then went next door to the actual Peak Mart convenience store -- and yet again, the NICEST young woman was behind the counter. They have comfy padded bistro chairs and tables for those who are waiting for their cars, so you can eat there, read a newspaper, or just hang out. This place was SO incredibly clean (as clean as you think it could be -- it's even cleaner than that!). The owners/managers/employees take such pride in their store and business, and they REALLY respect their customers by providing them with the cleanest surroundings, the nicest and most capable employees -- even the bathroom was spotless! Be warned -- going there will spoil you; you'll wish that every convenience store in your own neighborhood was as clean and wonderful as Peak Mart...).They also have a Sinclair gas station out front that they also own, which reminded me of the days when I was a kid, when they used to give out green Sinclair dinosaurs made out of soap every time we got gas... I had to leave pretty quickly, and while I was initially so delighted (and even surprised) at how great my car looked, it wasn't until I got home and really took a good look at everything that I saw what an above excellent (to say the very least) job they did on my car. They now have a customer for life -- and next time, I'll know to bring a magazine or two or a book to have something to read... and I'll still go get a tortilla next door (where they were also great about letting me stay as long as I liked) and spend some time sitting in the convenience store, enjoying something sweet. All around, this was a great experience, and I am one happy, grateful customer.
