This store is pretty bloody amazing. I came here before the remodel and even then I thought it was kind of cool because I've never seen a grocery store selling furniture, but now it is just ridiculous.
I think it's best described as a combination grocery store, gourmet food shop and Target with an emphasis on food. Other reviewers have already mentioned all the departments which range from chocolates and baked goods (including a separate Ethel M stand) to a huge wine department to electronics and even books (set up like B&N). They still have furniture, as well as linens for your house. And if you need a diamond ring there is the Fred Meyer jewelry store too. I like how everything is set up in distinct departments which keeps it neat and organized.
The assortment is a little more extensive than a regular store, but you won't find a lot of the unique products you might see at say, Whole Food. And the covered parking is kind of silly though because it's just a roof on top and not a garage or anything. I guess every little bit helps in the hot Phoenix sun!
