  • Well I went to Dr. Wittenberg to have the surgery that I had consultation for a year ago. Suffice it to say my problem was worse at this point. My last bunion surgery was completely botched , the doctor did both feet at the same time and put the screws in way too deep causing my toe to stick up and over causing severe pain. The first couple days were rough but this was nothing like the first time I had it done. Words cannot express how happy I am that I found this doctor. I love his bedside manner, I feel like I'm seeing a friend not a doctor. He is very candid and will explain to you exactly what is going on and what he's going to do. I really cannot believe that I'm not having any pain two weeks after surgery unless I step down I put a lot of pressure on the front of my foot and that simply because the nerves are going to have to settle down because they were damaged from the first time. Please understand that not only were my feet deformed because of the surgery there was so much pain that I couldn't go without shoes. Bare feet on the ground hurt incredibly. So if you are having a problem with bunions this is your guy ,trust me! One more thing I forgot to mention his staff. They are just as wonderful!!
