| - If you choose one place to eat for the rest of your life, pick up a fork and STAB YOUR WAY INTO THIS RESTAURANT because damn. Angels is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I would boycott its destruction. I would stand in front of a tank rolling at me for this restaurant, and I would sacrifice my first child to the food gods to LIVE at this restaurant. Do you love burgers? Go here. Do you love beer? Go here. Do you love pizza and homemade poptart desserts?! YOU GUESSED IT, GO HERE! The beers, the plethora of beers, are listed in chalk behind the bar, which showcases simple taps running from one end of the bar to almost the other side. The selection is out of this world, even cider drinkers, like myself, find something. I have -no joke- had dreams about the pretzels and cheese dip. Not only is that my favorite thing in the world, but Angels does it better than anyone. It's a great app to share and its freakin fantastic. Living that cheese life, bruh.
I have had tons of stuff on this menu so i cannot discuss them all buuuuuuuuuut any burger is worth it. They do everything, from buns to condiments, just right. When I say these burgers are a hot mess, I mean it in the best way. Like the Kate Upton of burgers kind of way. Sexy and full figured. The Meat Treat pizza is my go-to because, if you read my bio you'd know, I freakin love meat. This crunchy pizza crust has the perfect meat to cheese ratio and is super easy to heat up the next day. When I eat out, you better believe I am bringing home leftovers so I can eat tomorrow. You know what's up. Girl's gotta eat.
If you're looking for a fun night out with beers and kick ass cuisine, this gastropub is your stop. The beer bottle lights and the high top tables along the north side of the restaurant are perfect for large groups. I had a party there and we took up three long high top tables inside that connect to three long high top tables outside; they were separated by a wall that completely opened up the upper half of the wall with sliding windows! If food is life, then Angels is where you should be living it.
There may be a wait, but that's because EVERYONE ELSE KNOWS that this restaurant is the bees knees. Suck it up, wait with a drink at the bar, and eat until you realize you should try to set up vacancy there.
Also, their fish taco game is on point. And their fries could stop wars. Just sayin'. It's the simple things.
