| - Can I give this place a ZERO please??????
I have NEVER been so appalled in my life...........
I went into this store to browse for a dipped back bra for a dress with an open back
I walked in, asked a young lady for what I was looking for, and was then told that she would get me the "expert" who'd be able to help me better.
Sounds good so far, right?
Wrong.
This expert happened to be a very pushy, inappropriate, and in-your-face guy who told me that that bra I was looking for was stupid and shouldn't be sold, and that if I really wanted to look like a sausage, I should go elsewhere to buy it because they didn't sell such failure-type bras. He then said that I'd fare better with a bustier, which I was ok with. Regardless of the fact that I insisted I knew what my bra size was, he insisted on measuring me..Fine again. HOWEVER, my issue was when (a) he brought me a garmet 2 sizes too small saying that we'd try to "cheat the system" and (b) when he INSISTED that I come out of the changing room without doing up the bustier because he was a professional who could do it better. I must've said "I know how to close up a bustier" about 4 times and he kept repeating that he was a professional and that I "HAD TO" open the door.
Sound like a nightmare yet?
Good thing I'm not done..
So, I finally told him that if he could wait a second I'd have it done up and that I wasn't comfortable with him doing this thing up on me when I had nothing else on. My friend then chimed in, and said that she'd come in to help me, to which he responded "ONLY PROFESSIONALS CAN DO THAT!". He then informed me again that he was a professional who'd been fitting bras for 40 years (because that's supposed to make the creepiness go away I guess), and after I insisted that he was making me really uncomfortable, the lady manager came over.
.........
After about 5 minutes of back-and-forth with her, I decided not to buy the said garment mainly because of their RIDICULOUS attitude, to which she snapped at me "excuse me, but I got you exactly what you wanted, so why aren't you buying it!?"
Oy vey....what a horrific experience. Places like this seriously shouldn't be allowed to operate. The "professional" who works there is unbelievably inappropriate and the overall attitude of the people who work there is horrendous.
I still get angry when I think of this incident. Grr....
