| - Compared to the old location about a block east on queen st, this location is so much nicer! Larger (more work space), more outlets (..! they only had one before), just feels more open and fresh.
They play the music a bit loud for my taste, and some of it is very upbeat so it's hard to stay focused on work at times.
I see lots of people bringing their kids, so it's nice to know it's a kid friendly place, but that's also a word of caution if you're looking for a peaceful location to do some studying or work. I'd suggest just coming here as a hangout place with a friend or to relax with a cup of coffee.
They do have a selection of sandwiches - I had the turkey and cheese croissant that cost about $5. Overpriced, as it was a cheese croissant with some sliced turkey I could buy at any grocery store for much cheaper. Also, they're all refrigerated and just warm it up when you order. In comparison, I'd much rather go to Aroma, where they make all the meals to order.
The drinks here are good, though. I would just caution about the London fog - they add some sort of sweetener (vanilla?) so let them know in advance if you like it more bland.
I'll still come back, as it closes later than some other cafés in the area, is close to home, the staff are friendly enough, and it is a nice atmosphere.
