| - Sun Country Landscaping has been the landscape maintenance contractor at our townhome community for almost three years now. I guess you could say that in the past, we've had some real "Humdingers" when it comes to landscape maintenance contractors.
I'm always hesitant to recommend a landscape maintenance contractor to anyone due to my past experience. I had always felt that a landscape maintenance contractor would do a great job for about 4-6 months, and then get lazy. Nothing makes me more frustrated than to see Texas Rangers, or any shrub for that matter, shaped into 4' spheres or cubes. Being the resident landscape architect, I was asked a few years ago to help find a new landscape contractor who charged reasonable rates, was dependable, and understood basic horticultural maintenance procedures. We interviewed many companies, checked many references, and visited many properties that each company currently maintained. It was a unanimous decision by our landscape committee and our HOA Board of Directors to use Sun Country Landscaping. They are licensed, bonded, and insured. They also verify the employment status of all of their workers. They are fast, reliable, and reputable. We are extremely pleased with their service, even almost three years later. Sun Country Landscaping offers both landscape design and installation services in addition to landscape maintence.
One last note: As always, with any contractor, please check their status with Registrar of Contractors to make sure they have resolved any complaints on file before you hire them.
