  • The service at Gertrude's was excellent and the food was definitely good. However, don't expect to get a deal. You are definitely paying more because this restaurant is located within the Desert Botanical Gardens property. I had a veggie wrap and my father had the reuben, which were both featured on the special menu. The veggie wrap was good, but I have had better. My dad felt the same about the reuben.
