As a frequent Hilton user I convinced my wife to switch our reservation to this hotel for our last night on our family vacation. Boy was this the worst mistake I ever made. The staff was absolutely rude the whole time, and the term customer service is something not taught at this location. This is a shame because we just came from another Hilton property in Sedona where they truly understand what customer service means.
We selected the pool side room because we thought with it being the locations upgrade it would be a nice way to end our trip. Once we got there we found out the the pool is open until midnight. So when a family reunion takes over the pool at 9:00, we get to hear them for 3+ hours (fireworks and all). I didn't even know you could set off fireworks at a hotel like that, but I guess at this location anything goes.
Speaking of anything goes, the cleanliness of the rooms are not up to any standard I've come to know from embassy suites, but once again at this facility it's not surprising. The air covers had layers of dust on them, and the extra bedding for our daughter was not in a sealed bag to ensure its cleanliness.
When we tried to use our phone in our room to ask for more towels none of the phone buttons worked. We got through by dialing "0", but were put on hold for 15+ minutes. I ended up calling on my cell phone and got what we needed before ever having someone take us off of hold on the land line.
Hilton needs to seriously audit this facility, because it's definitely ruining the hard work that Hilton has done to build their brands. Until it does I would not recommend this place to any frequent Hilton user.
