  • I came in at 2pm to do a simple drug screen for a job. The lobby was packed and the hall was getting full. I had to be somewhere at 4pm. I asked the desk clerk if I would be out by 3:30pm before putting my name on the list. She said probably. 3pm rolls around and I'm now holding a very full bladder. It's not only urgent to get out to make my appointment but also to pee now. I ask the clerk if anything can be done because at this point the entire lobby has been watching me do a Pee dance. She rolls her eyes and asks if I can just wait a minute. A minute turns into 30 minutes which at that point I left. I had to pee and an appointment to make. The girl next to me had been waiting three hours. So in hindsight- there was no hope for anyone in the lobby. I should also mention this was a weekday. My prospective employer scolded me saying a drug test should only take "30 minutes tops" and gave me an appointment at another Labcorp facility. Their hours were posted incorrectly on the information given using ESR so I wasn't able to make their "latest" time which I had to speed to once I was off work at 3pm I. paradise Valley to Peoria. You read that right- PEORIA. Essentially I am now out of a job because Labcorp won't take my piss.
