Report was ok, but I dont think that it was worth the $200 it cost. It appears to have been a form letter with the appropriate vehicle/accident info from my case inputted into it.
Insurance company was very stingy and I did not end up getting any offer for diminished value. For reference, my vehicle is a 2015 which had about 20k miles on it and sustained about $3,000 of body damage.
To his credit, Jim at DVCHECK was quick to respond when I brought up the insurances companies denial to him. Unfortunately the state specific information I got him was lacking and I was going up against a state specific insurer who appears to be familiar with the applicable state laws (NJ manufacturers). They have been totally unwilling to budge and I am not actually going to file a lawsuit over this relatively minor issue.
There are other services that provide similar DV reports for like $35-50. Unless you are actually willing to pursue a lawsuit, I would recommend that you use one of them as $200 is a lot to spend on the report for the quality you receive.
