I hadn't been here in at least 10 years, but my lizard brain remembered it had a bowling machine, so my bar game divining rod led me here. They've dolled the place up quite a bit in the last 10 years, but the machine (a stubby version of the Chicago Coin classic) was still resting by the door. The place looks a lot nicer and I was surprised to see a handful of craft handles behind the bar, but Iggy's is still a glorious Lakewood dive bar. The handful of patrons were slamming cheap beer and shots. A Golden Buckeye holder was unironically drinking Pabst. Three pool tables, a big stage and two foosball machines round things out. Low prices and a heavy odor of something other than alcohol made it even nicer.
