  • La Diperie opening on Notre-Dame is the best and the worst think that could happen to me, you can't go wrong with a dip soft serve, and it is on my way home from my aquabootcamp... But as I said I love chocolate dip ice cream, they have a very large selection of dip and of topper, for my first time over there I took a "regular" size dip in dark salt chocolate with pretzel on top. The dark chocolate sauce was great and being a big fan of the salty / sweet combination, you can not go wrong. Their size are very generous, so the regular is BIG, be careful. Only down for me was point is that they have not mastered yet the dipping to have the right consistency, thick enough to have a nice 'crust' which allow you to savour your cone without having the ice cream dripping all over the place. If you compare them to Chocolat Favoris whom clearly master the dipping, La Diperie have more choice are more topping. Conclusion, go there if you like to have endless choices of combination or go to chocolat Favoris for a classic chocolat dip ice cream.
