  • Beware the old "Bait & Switch"! After seeing a GE dryer posted as on sale on the Tasco website (see photo) we took time out of our busy day to travel to the Dufferin & Lawrence showroom with our two young children in tow to purchase the advertised dryer. I spoke to an unenthusiastic salesman named Steve and ordered, paid, and arranged for delivery in 8 days. 4 days later we received a call from Steve informing us the dryer that was - and still is at the time of this writing - advertised on the Tasco website as on sale & available is now discontinued. If the dryer is discontinued why is it being advertised on the Tasco website as on sale & available?? Steve & Tasco would not honour the sale price with a comparable dryer. We were offered nothing for the waste of our time coming into the store to buy an advertised yet non existent appliance. We were offered nothing for the inconvenience of waiting half a week to be told the dryer we bought & paid for isn't available. We were offered nothing for having to go out yet again in search of yet another dryer. Although we were welcomed to come back and buy another dryer at full price lol. Please don't waste your time at Tasco.
