  • The hype is real and it is totally worth it! I waited here for over 2 hours after years of having this place bookmarked I finally did it and it was amazing! Their oysters are amazing and their pan roast is amazing. This oyster bar is a bar that only seats about 15 people located in Palace Station. This is so exclusive that You even have to wait in line to place a to go order. I could be totally making this up but I swear there's like a cult following for THIS oyster bar in particular-even though many of the casinos in Vegas have one. Oyster Bar serves a handful of soups, stews, pastas, and fresh seafood. They are known for their pan roast, gumbo, and fresh oysters. If you never had a pan roast it is almost like a soup that is finished with cream sauce. They have you pick a spice level and I recommend going medium at least. I have to say I did see the chef using bags of frozen seafood, but my fish was cooked so well I honestly can't even complain. Me and my buddy had a half dozen oysters on the half shell, a half dozen clams, vodka oyster shooters, and our own pan roasts. TheI had a hard time deciding between one with sausage, chicken, and shrimp or the one with shrimp, lobster, and crab I believe so we each got one. I have to say the sausage one had a depth of flavor the lobster one didn't, but the lobster one had lobster so it's just up to preference. The food was amazing. The portions are right for the price tag- all the fishes are around $20-$25. My one regret is not trying their clam chowder. If you ever have time to kill then Oyster Bar is an experience to be had. Now I want to find out how the sunset station location compares.
