| - So 3 stars, this is a bit of a split review.
Part 1: I viewed over 20 places looking for my new place and this was one of them. This was the most expensive place I checked out, and was also the nicest. The places were really awesome, and the bathrooms in particular were far and above anything else I saw. The 2br was around $2200 + a couple hundred in fees. The 3br was around $3200 + fees. If that is in your price range and you want an apt. as opposed to a house i'd check this place out.
The bad: I don't think they have garages, or underground parking. I'm not 100% sure, but i'm pretty sure the leasing agent said it's just outdoor covered parking. Personally, I think this is an awful lot of money to spend to have outdoor covered parking, but you may not care about that.
Whoever made the decision to show us the $3200 model unit, despite me saying I wanted a 2br made a poor decision in my opinion. I am not sure if the leasing lady has control over this as management may force her to show the model unit. She showed me the model unit first which was of course much larger, and also higher up and had an amazing view of the strip. I saw it and thought "wow, this is a million dollar view"... and then they took me to "my" unit, the one I asked for, and guess what, i'm staring at a building, no view at all, plus the unit is just way smaller in comparison, it was a total let down.
Part 2: Out of the over 20 places I saw there were only two leasing agents who I disliked / annoyed me, and this was one of them. You would think with this being a very expensive place relative to the large majority of other apartment complex's they would have higher quality leasing agents, but apparently I was mistaken. She said she had been working there about a month and was obviously untrained. When she gave me numbers she started adding on fee's and she said "there's a $55 utility use fee" (i'm not sure that was it's exact name, but it was something like that) so naturally I said "What's that" to which she replied "it's really complicated..." and then tried to push past my question. Of course that is not an acceptable answer so I asked again to which she in a more long-form answer again said "it's really complicated" and then tried to move on. After I clarified that this was separate from my personal utilities, and was some sort of complex-wide shared fee (similar to a CAM fee), I ask again and she says "I can get a manager to explain it". This woman has been presenting $30,000 contracts to people for a month, and never once bothered to ask a manager what the fee's were, and a manager never bothered to train her. I didn't stick around for the rest of the fee's.
In Conclusion, I liked the place, although I don't have a lot to directly compare it to as there aren't a lot of complex's in that price range in the area; however, I would strongly recommend you heavily examine the contract as if the leasing agent cannot even explain basic fee's she clearly will not be able to explain the $25,000-40,000+ contract you are about to sign.
