  • Still a 4 for me a few weeks on. It's pricey, certainly, but the quality and the customer service have remained good. They still seem to be doing regular samplings which I love and am a total sucker for. I always seem to end up buying extra those days! One of the recent stands was Planet Bean Coffee. The company director was handing out the coffee samples and explained that it was fair trade and roasted in Guelph. Longo's are the only supermarket chain they sell to. It made me like them much more-they actually make an effort to support local businesses! My Metro/Loblaws/Sobeys visits have tailed off to almost nothing. [30/7/11 Edited to add: customer service is generally good but has slipped somewhat. Most staff aren't as enthusiastic as they were initially. There's a girl on the cheese section (I've come across her on Saturdays) who goes above and beyond into downright rude territory though. It's a pity because one of the selling points for this store was the pleasant retail experience...]
