I completely disagree with the previous review. If you are going to leave negative comments like that, at least provide insight as to why.
I was working a dead end job and feeling a little lost. I decided it was time to make a change and went to Fortis for the Dental Assistant program. Great instructors, supportive staff and every resource you could possible need. There is a nice balance of class and clinical time, followed by a 3 month externship that makes you feel truly prepared when graduating. Career services works with you to find a job and I found one only a few weeks after graduating. I have worked for the same dental office now for 3 yrs, and will be returning to Fortis next year for the Dental Hygiene program. The office I work for also hired another Fortis student because of their faith in their professionalism and skill set. This school truly cares about it's students, and if you work hard, you will succeed. Never imagined I would be doing what I am doing now, but I couldn't be happier.
