I purchased a facial on Amazon Local. Booked an appointment several weeks out. Got sick and rescheduled. All this was handled by text. On the day of my appointment, I arrived early and waited 30 minutes. Finally went to front desk. They said Joanie had not been around all week and wasn't answering her phone or texts. So I called. No answer. Left a message.
I was hoping to get a call back from an apologetic business owner, sorry for the mistake and hoping to reschedule. Instead, Joanie called back later saying she didn't have me on her schedule and if she did she would have called to say she was sick. When I told her the appointment was clearly written in our texts, she became angry. She said she didn't want to do business with me and I should get my money back.
Really poor customer service. Very unprofessional. Sounds like she is fine unless she has to deal with her own mistakes. Sorry you were sick, Joanie. You didn't have to be mean and rude, too.
