| - In order to get into the theater, they force you to walk through the casino instead of using the many entrances they have. You have casino traffic and show traffic and it's chaotic. It's a way to lure people to gamble their money away. I don't gamble so, I don't care about the casino and just want to get to my damn show. Same thing getting out of the theater, you have to go through the casino. So, did they even put doors around the theater if people aren't allowed to use them???
The venue is nice, I'll give them that. But their drink holders are so shallow. One wrong move and your drink will be on the floor.
We went to the 7pm Chris Rock show. There was a comedian before Chris Rock who was funny but some people in the audience couldn't hear him because the sound system wasn't working in some parts of the theater - do they not check these things before performers get on stage? It's not the performer's fault and it ruins the performance/ joke for both the audience and the person/ people on stage. And you'd think they'd fix it right away but no, some members of the audience were booing and demanding sound check - I don't blame them. They paid for tickets, they should hear what's going on.
Chris Rock gets on stage. Audio was finally working. In the middle of his performance, a weird chirpy noise comes on that interrupted what Chris Rock was saying and so he lost his train of thought.
Because of all the snafus, we didn't get out until 9:30pm and there was a 10pm show. So, getting out of the theater was even worse. This was my first time here and I'm hoping whatever show I want to watch won't be held at this venue. I don't care if it's nice and clean - it better be, it's new.
