Called on a Friday morning to book appointment for a couples massage on Saturday and nothing was available, understandable. I put us on the cancellation list just in case. Saturday morning I get a call stating an appointment was available at 4:45pm to accommodate my request. Fast forward to 2:22pm, as we are checking into our hotel an hour and a half away from home, I get a call from Lynda stating that there is no therapist available for the appointment I was offered just 2 hours ago. I returned her call only to have her say that she did not call me and the last thing she knew was the appointment was scheduled for 4:45. At the end of this 10 minute conversation we still don't know if we have an appointment or not and Lynda says she has to call me back. An hour later and no call back, I call the salon and of course Lynda is not available. I was told by whomever answered the phone that there is no therapist available for the appointment we were offered and that "there was a lack of communication" on their part. I was offered nothing, no apology, no rate decrease....nothing. I wasn't looking for any handouts, however genuine ownership for their mistakes would have gone a long way. They could not get off the phone fast enough. Such a shame considering all of the good reviews, part of why we chose it in the first place.
