My review is more like 3.5 stars but I'm rounding down. I read reviews here and on Google (yes, I look at their listings too sometime). It seems both had considerable mention of grumpy/rude customer service. The place seems entirely run by two French (Quebecoise?) women with blunt, get-stuff-done personalities. Take it or leave it I suppose but I would've been happier without it. They were very instructive towards us as if we'd never rode bikes before. They were being helpful with guidance about how to adjust your seat for example but they weren't being particularly friendly about it. Sounding more like "Just do it." than "You may want to do this."
Otherwise, the prices aren't so bad. Using the link to their main site which is facebook-based you can find a shot of their prices. They're at a great location at the juncture between the park and downtown. You can indeed rapidly rent a bike and roll out quickly. The shop is located on the outside of Eau Claire shopping mall. Not to be confused with the bike store inside the mall. They have a very friendly shop-dog that will tug-of-war your arm off. Even on a Saturday you can rent a bike and see the whole of the important parts of Calgary in a few hours. Ride around downtown and/or along the extensive greenway path bordering the beautiful Bow River flowing down from Banff NP.
