Do NOT order items to be delivered to this store. I helped my parents with a remodel purchase and they were able to order a majority of the items to be delivered to their house. One of their items had to be sent to Home Depot and then delivered by them. The website told us that the store would call us when the item was delivered. We never got a call. My mom checked the tracking # online and saw it had been at the store for days. She called the store and they said oh! We'll schedule a delivery then! We were told that they would come deliver the item on Friday. My mom waited all day on Friday between 6am-8pm. No one ever showed up. We called them and they said that the delivery guy called her and she didn't answer. They also claimed he left a voicemail. It's 2018. It's very obvious if someone has left a voicemail and it was very obvious that they never called her.
Fast forward to today and we were told that we would be the first delivery because of the screw up. We woke up at 6am again for the horrible 6am-8pm window. By 1pm, we hadn't heard anything. We called Home Depot and spoke to Sally, who offered no information/help and told me that if i felt I needed to escalate this to corporate, then do it. After getting no help from her, I called and spoke to a manager, who told us he couldn't tell us anything except that the delivery would come today. No reason as to why we weren't the first delivery as promised, and no offer to help us at all.
Get your act together, Home Depot. The customer service exhibited this week was HORRIFIC. You have lost the loyalty of not only my parents, but their three children's families too. You should absolutely be embarrassed at the way you handled this situation.
