  • I lived in this apartment from 2011 through 2016. I moved out in May right before they changed from Camden Del Mar to the Avondale. I did not move out due to anything that is posted here, but rather because we bought a house, although these reviews have been interesting to read and I do believe it. My experience with Camden Del Mar had always been excellent. Like I said, I moved out in May 2016 amd paid off all final balances with them by physically going to the leasing office and paying the bill. I have signed paperwork from them acknowledging final payment in full. Today is December 2016 and I receive in the mail THE SAME BILL and a letter stating that they have audited their records and find that I owe a balance. They have stated multiple attempts to reach me yet this is my first notice from them. They state they will send this to collections. To top it off, they do not answer their phone so I can address this matter with them! I cannot give you advice on the living conditions there now. But I can say that based off the other reviews here and now experiencing their incompetence with record keeping....STAY AWAY!!
