I am a fan of this dentist as I hadn't been to one in over 10 years and they treated me with respect and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. B is amazing and very gentle! But I just have a little suggestion. I had a bad tooth extracted and when I went to check out, I wasn't given any after care instructions/paperwork other than being told no smoking or straw-use. I obeyed those. Four days later I was still in pain and went back. The dentist checked my gums for dry socket but said everything looked fine. The pain persisted, constantly for another few days and I was told to come back in a week if it hadn't diminished. I went back and as soon as the dentist took my temporary bridge off, he informed me that I indeed had an infection. The wonderful assistant (Holly I think) shaved some cement off of my bridge and re-fitted it. Then, I was prescribed a new antibiotic and medicated mouthwash. I just wonder if we had taken a look under there the first time, maybe we could've caught it sooner? Or maybe it hadn't set in yet? They were always very caring and nice, but I think printed care instructions would be helpful as some people (like me) don't go or haven't been to the dentist recently and have never had certain procedures done, thus may need more instruction and help caring for their teeth. Overall, the staff and dentist are very nice and caring. Just a few suggestions to be even better.
(other notes: first assistant that helped with extraction was as sweet as can be, even put on a movie to relax me. However, she brought the incorrect set of tools into procedure room and tried taking my impression 3 times before having a gentlemen take them instead.)
