| - Unfamiliar with Martorano, I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Overall, the look has a very modern/trendy feel to it, though admittedly a little confusing with the random mob/action movies playing on all the TV's periodically turning up over the sound system for certain scenes, only to fade back into the dj's mix. Food wise---I enjoyed the meatball over fried mozzarella. The meatball was sizable, tender, delicious and of course fried mozzarella---what more need be said. My entrée was the lasagna which is better than average, but not necessarily anything to get too excited about. What I did quite enjoy, however, was the wife's risotto with shrimp and scallops. Quite possibly one of the best things I've ever tasted. The risotto was so buttery and rich with each bite--completely flavorful, and the seafood cooked perfectly. If I were to go back, I would certainly order that. The price point was a little high, but as expected for this sort of restaurant on the strip in Vegas and certainly not outrageous. Waiters were attentive and food brought promptly. Overall good experience.
