rev:text	My best friend held a wedding on August 31, 2013 at la Primavera and I was her maid of honour so I can comment from the perspective of a wedding attendee but not as an actual client or customer commenting on the relationship with the banquet hall. To sum it up, I would not hold my wedding here for a bunch of reasons: 1) the walls between the different halls were thin and not soundproof. Another wedding was taking place at the same time as my friend's wedding which was fine until later in the night. When speeches were taking place on our side, the dance floor had already been opened so during the groom and bride's speech, the sound of the music and beats overcame the actual words being spoken. To me, this background music was distracting and took away from the moment. 2) the servers were very rude and appeared unapproachable. Many did not smile at all, even when approached. I made sure to thank them but yet, they barely acknowledged my thanks, which to me is basic manners but perhaps foreign to them. Waiters did not come by to pour the wine. The tables were not set with water glasses. 3)the bridal change room is not easily accessible. To get to the room for the bride, you need to travel up a flight of stairs and down the hall. If brides need to change into multiple outfits during the night, I could see this being a problem. It's nice to have a room that is close by to the actual reception hall. 4) the alcohol appeared to be watered down. I'm not a heavy drinker; in fact, I don't drink, but unless my alcohol tolerance increased during my abstinence, the integrity of the actual alcoholic content is questionable. I had more than 8 shots during the night, 2 of which was taken on an empty stomach and one of which was tequila and yet, I was 100% sober after the fact. Either way, I would hate to host an event where my guests have this perception. Although the portions of the food were good and served promptly and hot, on such a special day and event, little things are those that make the difference between good memories and regret.
