  • THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. To start off, the first plumber who came to look at our gas pipes misdiagnosed the issue and wanted $600 for all these "tests" the city required. Elvis, the serviceman, justified the $600 because the company "had to pull permits" to resolve the gas leak. We thought this estimate was extremely high and called Southwest Gas in the morning and their representative told us that we did not need permits at all! The SW Gas rep told us that the fix was easy. We called the company back and told them what SW said and I met 2 other servicemen at the property. They wanted $390 for parts and labor! We asked for a second opinion and the other plumbing company quoted us $200 tops! Plus, they did a shotty job and I am almost certain that they didn't provide us with new parts.
