So I purchased my wife a gift certificate for mother's day in order for her to receive a facial, massage, pedicure and manicure. I specifically asked the owner if she could use this certificate without scheduling appointment and the owner told me that she could.
So my wife tried to go and use her certificate and they told her that she needed to make an appointment. So now my wife comes home with not spa treatment and she is upset and tells me what happened.
Now I go over there to ask why she didn't get her spa treatment and they put me on the phone with the owner. First of all the owner of amnesia can't remember what he said 5 minutes ago to me so how will he remember what he told me the day I bought the certificate. First he offers to send me to another one of his spas and I said that would be fine. Immediately after he tells me that he says he has to call and see if he can do that and he does not know if she can go there or not. Why offer me that if you can't do it. I asked him again to make sure if it was okay or not for her to go to another one of his spas and his says that I need to wait an hour in Amnesia for him to make phone calls and find out if he can do that. I thought you were the owner of these spas would it not be your decision.
He then tells me he does not understand why my wife is upset. Simple she did not get any kind of service.
So after he offers me all these things that he does not even know if he can do, I just ask for a refund because nothing makes sense what he is saying at this point. He tells me that he does not give refunds on gift certificates and that it is posted on the wall. This part is great the place where he posts this is behind a cabinet where unless you were trying your best to read something in a corner BEHIND A CABINET you could have known.
So at this point I don't know if my wife is going to another spa or has to go the one that made her upset, he told me to leave my number and that he would let me know.
This place has no management or has anyone that has a clue how to treat people with complaints about services offered and promises not kept. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else that is PROFESSIONAL and actually lives up to being a high end salon. This place has the face of a high end salon but thinks they can treat their customers how ever they feel they should.
