  • Went in on saturday 6-16 around 12:30pm. Hadnt been there since 2009, and could hardly wait, as we loved this place. Our current visit this time around was Very Disappointing to say the least. As stated, we were there around lunch time, less than 1/2 the tables in the place had patrons. We knew exactly what we wanted, same and only choice we ever get here: The combination platter & the Broiled Moroccan Lamb. Tammy, our server (or should I say one of three servers we had) seemed nice enough, but unfortunately thats where it ended. If your going to take someone's order that has a few particular requests (i.e. crispy athens fries, xtra sauce, etc.) and not write it down, no problem, your awesome, but when the food does come, and wasnt to order, and it was like talking to wall, then yea, im a little peev'd. The grapeleaves have been and will always continue to be, a store bought product (I believe wild oats store bran from a jar) and are the worst you could ever want to eat, I mean, if you like mush and all. The rest of the combination platter lacked lemon!!!!! Come on Paymon's, your serving mediterranean food, put some damn lemon on the food, had to ask for a side of lemon, then it was just edible. Asked for the Lamb cooked medium, came to us "well done" No self-respecting person would ever eat Well-Done lamb. Oh by the way, I even question whether it was even lamb or beef, I honestly could not tell, and you lamb lovers know what a distinct taste lamb has, it was very difficult to tell if we were eating lamb or beef, but either way, it was tough as hell, so who cares at that point. So out of the three or so food servers who were serving us, Not One of them EVER asked us how anything was, not Once, ever, nor did we recieve a thank you for coming in from our server Tammy. Here's a tip (because you know this was the only one you recieved from me) if your going to work in customer service, you better have a clue (or get one fast) what it is you are doing, it does go a long way. I know I couldnt do this type of service, too many a$$holes to deal with, but some people can do it, and they love it, I applaud you, otherwise, please, find another occupation. I did bring our experience this trip up with the manager very politely, there is no need to be rude or mean, just pointed out all the shortcomings of this trip, and stated that there are too many other business competing for business, and customer service (you know, the good kind) goes along way in my book. Needless to say, wont be going back to Paymon's Las vegas anytime soon, will seek out other mediterranean establishments till we find a good one again FOOD: 5/10 SERVICE: 2/10 PRICE/VALUE: 5/10
