| - Hey, I recognize everyone can have an "off-night", but this wasn't one of those times -- everything we experienced was indicative of poor management. We went to a 6:20pm show, but were there at 6:10. There were 2 workers behind the popcorn counter and no lines, but they weren't paying attention, so we had to call out to them to get them to serve us. We ordered popcorn, and a spicy chicken sandwich and the pizza. While we were waiting for the food, we went over to the bar to get a beer, but the guy said they weren't open as he was still setting up, but would probably be done around 6:45pm (unfortunately, after our movie started). This was our first time here, so I'm not sure if that's the norm, but the other theaters we usually go to that serve beer (like Charlotte Movie Bistro, Cinebarre) seem to always be serving, so this was disappointing. We continued to wait for our food. And wait. And wait. Certainly not "fast food". About 15min after we ordered it, the spicy chicken sandwich and pizza was brought out. We were glad there were about 10min of previews, as we walked in the theater and fortunately didn't miss the beginning of the movie. I thought the sandwich was ok, my wife had the pizza and didn't like it, she gave me a bite and I agreed - not something we'd ever order again. Anyway, seats were comfortable, theater temperature was comfortable, and the sound quality and picture were good. It was just all the service related things that really left us saying, "well, no desire to come back and experience this again." and we'll stick with our other go-to theaters instead. The last thing I'll mention, is that when you go in to get tickets, you're "greeted" with kiosk's -- zero human interaction. I get it - reducing OPEX, increasing automation is the current fad - but I think the more certain establishments remove human interaction, they will actually see the a sliding scale where fewer people end up going, and they actually make less money than they were with people greeting you at the front. Just my 2-cents.
