  • The only reason I am giving one star is because you can't do no stars. This is the worst Kay Jeweler store I have ever been to. I was trying to order a 2 carat diamond eternity band for my anniversary. I went in on a Friday because I needed it by the following Tuesday before we left town for Vegas. The sales associate said yes I can do that. It had to be ordered though because they do not carry them in the store. They also ordered a second one to be shipped to the store because the first one was to be shipped to my office. They already charged me for the one that got sent to my office. It did not show up. I called and was told on Wednesday, the day that I was leaving, that the ring showed up in the store. I thought great I'll get to have my present for my wife for our anniversary. The problem was when I got there it was the wrong ring. It was only a half carat diamond instead of the two carat. I noticed it was the wrong one and tried to tell the sales associate/manager but he insisted it was correct and charged me for it and then handed it to me. I looked at the ring and said Sir I know this isn't the right one because this is the one specifically that the other associate said did not come in 2 carats. I told him I would walk it across the mall to another jeweler and have them appraise it and tell me how many carats it was and then he took a look at it. After finally convincing him that was not the right one he begrudgingly refunded my money. The terrible part about that was he was perfectly willing to charge me $4000 for a $1200 ring, that doesn't seem very fair. I finally got back from Vegas and I still don't have the other ring that was supposedly shipped to my store. They said it would be here today and I said I was told it was going to be there last Tuesday. The big problem is every time I ask for a tracking number so I can see where the ring is in transit no one can give me one. I find that funny, they keep saying this is normal and I said anytime I ship something I get a tracking number the second I ship it. I will be sure that if that ring comes today to return it if it doesn't come at all, as I'm suspecting it won't, I guess I'll just have to go over their heads and contact corporate and explain this to them.
