| - This airport seems to go on forever! It just seems like from the moment I get dropped off, I have to walk a mile to security. Then I walk a mile more to get to a "main concourse." That main concourse has a large selection of mostly chain/fast food restaurants. Then it breaks off into a handful of courses. THAT concourse is then a mile long! I swear I had to walk through one concourse to get to my concourse. Seriously, it's a lot of walking!
Then when I finally got to my gate, it was shoved into a corner with three other gates. I kid you not, someone was making an announcement for a gate by mine, and ANOTHER person came over the loudspeaker right next to them and starting talking over them for my gate. It was seriously so confusing. The gate attendants have to ask you where you're going because they know it's confusing (thank god!).
And believe it or not, I had to then walk outside another few steps (not bad I will say) to my plane. Maybe that's the trials and tribulations of heading to a mid sized to smaller market? Regardless, you could easily end up going to Columbus when you really wanted to go to Pittsburgh if you don't pay attention!
I stopped for a quick smoothie and Jamba Juice (I know, don't judge). The employees had to ask me no less than 5 times what I got, because no one seemed to communicate or remember. Yeah, pretty frustrating situation.
While there's many options for food and drinks, and it's relatively clean, it's definitely not the easiest to navigate... And hopefully you end up in the right plane!
