  • My husband is a cycling geek who loves this place, but I think my opinion might be a better gauge for the average weekend rider. At first blush, it looks like Spin may cater only to guys and gals like my husband. They have a lot of high-end gear and they have experts in fitting and coaching. My husband could tell you all about it until your eyes glaze over. What I love about Spin is that those high-end offerings don't define Spin. For one thing, they can find you an affordable bike of any kind and get you so comfortable on it that you will forget big box stores. More importantly, the employees are friendly to everyone from the CEOs buying $10,000 custom bikes to the vagabonds who can't afford cars and just need a flat fixed. No attitude and lots of knowledge here.
