This place is new in the area, supposedly the first to do SNS nails. I've seen SNS nails at different salons in the area so I don't think they're the first. I initially said I wouldn't write a review until I gave them a second chance. My first experience wasn't that great! I went in for a pedicure and a fill in. Earlier that day I broke 2 nails while putting groceries in my truck at Sprouts (the pointer finger and middle finger on my right hand). So I went in and said I'd like to have a pedicure, a fill in and 2 new nails. The man at the front (the manager I assume) looked at my nails, spoke to one of the guys in his native language and instructed me to be seated. Once I sat down the man said would you be okay with started with a new set of nails. I said sure! I didn't mind ... I wanted all of my nails the same. He proceeded to take my nails off with the end of an artificial nail. Do you get what I'm saying? He used a fake nail to pull and pluck my old nails off. It was sooooooooooo painful.
I thought he was just taking off the edge of my nails then use some sort of tool to get the rest off. He did not! Nor did he soak them off! Once they came off, my nails looked horrible. Now granted, I had tips on for 3 weeks but still, with every tug and pull I'm sure pieces of my nails went with it. After that painful experience I decided not to get a pedicure. Next time!
The tech said, you should try SNS nails. It'll make your nails strong and grow instead of the artificial nails. I was relucted but I tried it. In short, the SNS nail experience was okay ... quicker than a gel manicure. I personally like the gel manicure better. The price tag: $50 bucks for my old nails to be plucked off with a fake nail and for a new SNS manicure. Pricey ... not worth it in my opinion. I will try the salon again because I want to try their pedicures.
