| - So I think the food here is actually really good - 4*, possibly even 4.5*. My favorites are the war wonton soup, the larb, roast duck curry, salmon panang, and the basil seafood plate. Also, the crab fried rice is definitely among the best fried rice dishes I've had anywhere, and I do love my fried rice!
That said, this place has gotten pretty popular especially during lunch hours and the service gets really poor when it's busy (and to be honest, even when it's not busy the service is not great to begin with). Also, the food takes forever at these times... it took more than 30 minutes to get our entrees once. So if it's busy - not a good place if you're not allowed a generous lunch break.
Additionally, one time the salmon was just not fresh at all. We didn't get sick or anything (although granted we didn't eat much of it), but it was just clearly not fresh.
One last thing is that management is very bad about notifying customers when the restaurant will be closed. We basically go every week and we'll still sometimes show up and the place will just be closed, so they're giving minimal notification if any at all. Particularly annoying was the week of Christmas, when they were closed on Monday but the note on the door said they would be open Tuesday and Wednesday, but when we went back on Tuesday they were still closed anyway.
