  • Every now and again I get a wild hair (pun intended) and switch salons. I go thru style phases and sometimes a new stylist is a better fit for my current phase. That's how I recently discovered Salon 1226, specifically Allison G. and I am super happy about it. The entire salon staff is really friendly, not to mention patient. I can be a little all over the place about my hair, sometimes changing my mind while actually in the chair. From scheduling to paying for service, and of course the service itself: everyone is great. Allison is super friendly and easy to chat with. She is open to input from me, based on what I like (or think that I like) but doesn't mind making suggestions if she has other thoughts. She is especially good with color -- she seems to understand the science behind it which is reassuring. I realize hair is a very personal thing for people but I think almost anyone could find a good fit at Salon 1226.
