My nail tech for years just moved out of town so my friend and I are on the hunt to find a new nail salon. We had brunch at Namastay and decided to walk over to Carters. We saw the nail salon on our way and decided to go in to check it out. We were greeted kindly, but when we started to inquire about nail techs who do a great job on gel nails the rudeness surfaced. The owner acted like she didn't understand our question. I explained to her the situation and how we are picky about how we want our nails. We asked the lady who greeted us her name because we were going to come back on Monday when they offered a discount. She rudely asked, 'why do you want to know my name and do you know me?' I was like we were going to come back and ask for you since you greeted us. She proceeded to say well I don't do acrylics. First I've never ever had acrylics in my life, and a tech that knows nails could tell I currently had gel. Needless to say, they won't get a dime from me. Their loss because I get my nails done every week. Advice for owners: work on customer service. Rudeness is off putting and causes one star yelp reviews.
